Small but great!

It's not everyday that you have a early birthday in Paris.so you might find this interesting.lets read!

First we went to Rodin gardens.it had a statue of the thinker.it was interesting.i did copies of the  statues, however I couldn't for the headless and armless man.

mum and Felicity went shopping for the afternoon.  Pete, Raff and I went to Luxembourg gardens.  We saw (toy) boats on the water.we saw some pedal cars we will do that tomorrow.

Then...well,we went on a tour in a car.

thus was my surprise birthday treat from Felicity.  a Citroen.a...Citroen 2cv!!!!now,the 2cv was called the 2cv because it has a 2.0 litre 2 cyl.

the tour was about all the most famous tourist attractions. I'm predicting that my 8th birthday might just be my best birthday EVER!

Half way through the tour we went up a big hill to a church called sacre Coeur just as the sun was setting.  There were lots of people there.

The final bit of the tour was we went to the Eiffel Tower, it was night and it lit up and twinkled for 5 minutes. It was spectacular.

Today was sooo good!i almost said that Paris might be better than london!!!!!!!!!!

Magnificant!

Bonjour!

Today was actually quite nice.  This morning we quickly went to a good coffee place - Mum said it was what she expects from a 5 star place.

We were a bit slow moving this morning and we watched French cartoons on tv including Garfield and Cie in French.  They were good but we couldn't understand everything but they were still funny.

I went down the lift with our scooters - it was so exciting - it's the smallest lift I've ever seen.  Imagine a box - a tall but skinny box - that's what it's like.  It's only a 3 person lift!!!!

Aunty flis came to stay.that made it even more fun.

I have a blister on my foot that I just discovered today.  It's because my Mum is so into fashion that she says that socks don't match my shoes, but I don't care anymore because I don't want it to hurt.

We went on a boat tour on the Paris river.  Mum got lots of ideas for upgrades to our garden in Bendigo - in Paris they even have a beach on the river which is basically sand with some umbrellas in it.  Bit weird...but funny....

We went to Brasserie Flo for dinner.  It's so old but the food is tasty.  I didn't have the kids menu but instead the duck from the adults menu.  It was absolutely delicious (that's a quote from Million Dollar Decorators)

I also had glacé .  A French lady at the restaurant came up to us & said I was the first kid she has ever seen eat oysters - she was amazed.  There was even a giant music box!

Well today was very old fasinond.it was good.not long til' bruge! I hope you have a lovely Time til I get back and I am saying that because we're halfway in the holiday!

Verdict:Renault  alpine a110-50.(very good)

Bonjour

First day full day in Paris.it was nice.

actually better weather than London.france is better than I thought.

First we went on a bus tour. could get better commentary but the sites were interesting.  On the tour we saw famous sites like the Arch de Triumph where it was amazing to watch the crazy traffic driving around it.

One of the funniest sites was seeing police who use rollerblades to get around the city

Than we went to the market near our apartment.we had glacé.i had blood orange. It was delicious.

Than we had lunch at the apartment.after that we to the arc de triumph.  We climbed the 240 stairs to get to the top that has a spectacular view of Paris.

Than we had dinner at bistro not that far from our apartment.  i also tried a french soft drink called orangina which was good.  I had the club sandwich vegetarian and then more glacé for dessert.

Today wasn't a cilo RS nor a Peugeot 307.more of a citrëon ds4.

Learning from London's past

Well,I guess you could say today was pretty much like school...but with more history type(like my dad).so lets start the story

We had coffee.sounds boring,doesn't it.

well, think again...because after that,we went to st.pauls.we learned about Florence nightingale, lord Nelson and "the duke of Wellington(he's boots were especially made and they were soooo stylish that EVERYONE wanted some,so they made more of them for public and called them Wellingtons)and much more legends

Next,we went to princess dianna memorial playground.

we couldn't do it(thanks to strictparent  law.a.k.a pl/r)but it looked like fantastic circuit for our scooters!!!

Then we went to Kensington  palace.the place in which the royal baby.but we went to the museum part which was not about the current line up of royals, but her royal highness queen Victoria!

Then we went on to the tube to have burgers at a place called Honest burgers

Well that's the high lights today
But stay tuned for more Europe adventures

Yours truly,Remus brasier

P.s.the person at the palace called us two little princes,so change that to"prince Remus brasier.

Coolest day ever

...for just two things:being in London and, well,a surprise.but let's start from the beginning.

We didn't have our scooters.  We hopped on the tube to the city

we went to the London transport museum.a combo of facts, fun and history of the stuff  we see all over the world:transport bus, taxis and trains and London.

At the transport museum the best thing was a game where you got to pretend to drive the underground train and you had to brake and go with the signals.  It was cool.

For lunch we went to a famous Mexican restaurant wahaca. I had a tortilla based taco.  I would rate it 4 stars.

we had some shopping time and looked at the surprise...we went to a lotus themed shop. and I me,remus brasier at the age of 7, tried on a miniature version of a f1 suit!!!!!!!!!!

The next shop we went to was Hamleys the best toy store in the world.  It was 5 floors of toys! There were lots of toys like a helicpoter that wrote what you said. There were interesting remote control cars.

It was the most fun day ever...and just maybe, just maybe the best.but just maybe

Tower of London here we come

On Monday we went to the Tower of London.

Luckily, we discovered we had some
Scooters organised help us get round London

We got the bus into the city. We started to walk/scoot to the tower but on the way to somerset house and saw an exhibition about the chef from ebulli is Spain

It was a really hot day

At the Tower of London it was very medieval like, a bit like shrek with castles and turrets

At the Tower of London there was also a sign saying Heston blumenthal was going to be there filming a tv show but he hasn't started by the time we left

I got a book called tower power all about the tower

When we were about to leave the tower we saw the tower bridge open to let a boat through

We then walked across tower bridge to my aunts Kaths house because it was so hot we went and played in some water fountains overlooking the river Thames.

Last night we went to a Harry potter walk where we walked around lots of buildings that were in the Harry potter movie. I liked the bit where it was diagon alley.

When we came home we watched another episode of top gear series 20 it was hilarious and high revving good

It was exciting to be in London when the royal baby was born

Exploring London

On Sunday morning we walked through Kensington and had breakfast.

In the way I saw a Ferrari shop and a Lamborghini shop

For breakfast I had croissant and yoghurt.  Raff loved his croque Monsieur which is a toasted ham and cheese sandwich.

We then walked past lots of shops including a big famous store called Harrods. The craziest thing I saw on that walk was a Ferrari covered in velvet.

We then had a kick of the footy in Hyde park before we went on a bus tour of all the famous sites in London.  We saw St. Paul's cathedral, London eye, Big Ben.

The old city of London has a dragon statue as you enter that is meant to guard the city.

The designer of St. Paul's cathedral is actually buried in St. Paul's and on his grave it says of you want a reminder of me look around you, he has a good point there!

We got off the bus near the changing of the guards at buckingham palace and then walked near Big Ben

After that we went on the tube to a restaurant for lunch.  I had a bit of a nap on the tube.

For lunch I had the best roast ever. We then got our luggage and came back to Kate's to stay at her house because she has gone to Italy with felicity this week.
